| More commonly known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, Swayambunath is perched up high on the summit of a hill, offering amazing panoramic views of the city of Kathmandu and the valley it’s nestle into. Buddhist as well as Hindu temples both have their prominence here, an interesting example of the intertwining of Nepali beliefs and cultures. |
